my Restaurant Collection

Those who have come through Hanoi between 1997 and 2020 have undoubtedly dined at one of my restaurants: Cyclo Bar, Green Tangerine, and The Clover at Ngoc Thuy.

From everyday bistro food to high-end gastronomy and fusion cuisine, my establishments have hosted Michelin events and renowned Chateaux Dinners fit for presidents and movie stars. At the peak of Hanoian gastronomy, my restaurants earned their places in the hearts of many and have become indissociable from the culinary fabric of the city...

Memories of  Cyclo Bar

Between 1998 and 2012, Cyclo Bar was the place to be. For foreigners and local Vietnamese people, there was no comparison when it came to great food and even better company.
With the cozy atmosphere of a bistro and bar, you could sit in the coming cyclo-chairs while being served food and drinks.
You have been to Hanoi-visited great restaurants, eaten fantastic food, and ridden in cyclos. So why not do all three at once? Avoiding the potholes, bumps, and hectic traffic, patrons are seated in mock cyclos in this French-influenced restaurant that serves a great range of Vietnamese and Western food.
The Lotus and Chicken Salad and the Steak with Pepper and Cognac Sauce are to die for. Enjoy a cocktail or coffee while you ponder the safety of your stationary vehicle. Better not get too used to drinking hot beverages in cyclos, though; outside of this restaurant the consequences could be catastrophic.
